Version July 10 2023
In order to improve your experience with our website(s) and to measure and analyze your website usage, we or our service providers may use cookies or similar technologies (e.g. clear GIFs/pixel tags, JavaScript, local storage, log files and other mechanisms to automatically collect and record information about your browsing activity and use of the Services) (collectively, “Cookie(s)”). A cookie is a small text file that is automatically stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website(s). Cookies enable us or our service providers to recognize you when you visit our website(s) later and to provide your computer with certain characteristics. We do not receive any personal data about you through cookies. We may combine certain automatically collected information with other information we receive about you, which may include information we receive from third parties.
We use cookies for the following purposes:
Purposes required from a technical/functional point of view, in particular to ensure that the websites work properly, to remember your preferred settings and to make the websites work well and to be able to optimize them.
Statistical and analytical purposes. To this purpose and with your consent we use the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics saves information about your use of this website (including your IP address ) in cookies. We use settings that ensure that only anonymized IP addresses will be processed (of which the last bytes are being masked). In the frame of a Data Processing Agreement between us and Google, Google uses the data on our order for the purpose of the assessment of your use of our website, the creation of a report about website activity as well as for the delivery of further services through us, concerning the use of our websites and to continuously improve our website and optimization of your user experience on our website. If you want to disable these cookies, this is possible with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available for download here:
We also use the Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tag Manager only implements tags. This means: No cookies are used by the Google Tag Manager and no personal data is recorded. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data, but Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation of certain websites has been carried out at domain or browser level (see below for the deactivation of cookies), it remains in place for all tracking tags, insofar as these are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.
Marketing and performance purposes. With your consent, we collect user journey data to show you relevant and up-to-date content about our products or new stories / investor related matters / updates / blogposts / CLIQ News. In order to select content that is relevant to you, we use information about your interactions with the site, for example. We may share this information, such as an encrypted email address or device information, with third parties such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Google. This allows us to show you relevant information, ads or messages on third-party websites and apps. We may also link this data across devices and process data about the advertisement or message shown (e.g. whether you clicked on an ad). This helps us measure the effectiveness of our ads.
Some service providers may transfer the collected data to another country. For example, Google may transfer your data to Google LLC based in the United States of America for further processing necessary to provide us with insights regarding your use of our website and to create a report on website activity. Please note that service providers may transfer data to a country that does not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the USA, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes without you possibly being entitled to any legal remedies. For more information on the security guarantees, please refer to the website provider's privacy policy or contact the website provider directly.
You can prevent the placement of cookies by changing the settings of your Internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all previously stored information by changing your browser settings. To do this, look in the "Help" function of your browser. We inform you that some pages of our websites are only accessible with activated cookies; please note that blocking cookies may prevent you from accessing some of our content or services.
Please note that we, or third parties, may collect Personal Information about your online activities over time and across different devices and online characteristics when you use the Services.
Please note that we have no control over how other parties manage their opt -out procedures.
