What does successful leadership mean? In 2022, CLIQ began to invest in leadership development in collaboration with our external L&D partners. We developed and created tailor-made leadership programmes for our managers and the Operational Management Team (OMT). This plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our company and all its employees. While there is an extensive list of leadership skills that great managers should possess, in this article, we spotlight three key competencies we value at CLIQ: strategic thinking, communication, and empathy.
Strategic Thinking
Strategic thinking is the compass that guides teams to innovation and achievements. Beyond the here and now, visionary leaders are always several steps ahead. They see the bigger picture, anticipate potential challenges, and create strategies that set the stage for their team to succeed. Our leadership development programmes and personalised mentoring sessions are a critical part of stimulating strategic thinking in our management team. Our goal? To ignite a growth mindset within every individual and team, driving CLIQ closer to its ambitious goals.
Communication
We see good communication as essential for good leaders. They do not just speak; they communicate in a way that resonates and motivates. This means that they need to clearly articulate their expectations, as well as the company’s goals and plans, share enough information and paint a picture of the future.
